Pollock Pines Friends of the Library Seeks Good-Condition Hardback Books

POLLOCK PINES — November 2, 2026. Friends of the Pollock Pines Library, a local volunteer support group, is requesting donations of gently used hardback books and accepting community participation.

What the group requests

The group says it particularly needs newer hardcover books in good condition. Its website asks donors to bring books to the library on normal opening days rather than leaving materials outside.

Donation hours

Pollock Pines Library is open Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. Special holidays can reduce hours, so confirm before driving with a large box of books.

How volunteers support local reading

Friends groups commonly help support programs, author visits and community engagement. This group’s website also provides a 2026 newsletter and information about membership; contact it directly to learn current needs.
